I have been supporting individuals and teens for more than 10 years. I work from a strength-based perspective. I enjoy working with people to build skills, process trauma, and rebuild their lives.

I work with people with Complex trauma with EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I help you process trauma and work with you to rebuild relationships and build new supports.

Even when someone has not experienced trauma, it can be difficult to manage emotions, make better choices, and feel more secure in your relationships. I will teach Dialect Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy Skills to reduce anxiety, depression, and feeling overwhelmed while creating a safe and supportive space.

While working with teens, we focus on communication skills with family, friends, and teachers. I teach teens how to advocate for themselves and build firm boundaries. We focus on time management, emotions and prepare for life after high school. Many difficulties teens face are based on self-esteem, social anxiety, and fatigue. We will work to help identify the triggers and make life more manageable.

In today’s world, we adjust to the new “normal” and looking for ways to feel safe in the uncertainty. Together we can learn how to build new boundaries and set ourselves up to succeed as life will continue to change. The relationship between a client and therapist is unlike any other relationship. Because of that, I have a direct style and will hold space so you can make these changes. Give me a call or email today, and let’s see if we can make changes together.
